§ Vice-Admiral Hughes HallettThe Staffordshire County Council is the highway authority for this road and my right hon. Friend is prepared to issue grant to enable it to be improved. We are looking into the possibilities of starting this work but it depends to some extent on the future of the canal which cannot yet be determined.
