§ Mr. HayI cannot, for security reasons, specify the numbers of anti-80W submarine helicopters required by the Royal Navy But following successful flying and service trials, the Wasp helicopter is now in quantity production. Originally development problems set back our programme a few months, but this trouble is now behind us and as aircraft become available for service afloat they are being allocated to ships. All available ships will have a Wasp allocated to them within the next twelve months.
