§ 32. Mr. Sydney Irvingasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs how many comprehensive town centre redevelopment schemes he has received in the last three years; how many he has approved; and how many are still waiting to be dealt with.
§ Mr. CorfieldIn the three years 1961 to 1963, 92 town centre redevelopment schemes were submitted for approval. During that period 47 schemes were approved, 4 rejected and 3 withdrawn—54 in all—though 30 of these were submitted in earlier years.
Seventy-two schemes are still being dealt with, 33 of which were submitted during the last year.
