Mr. McMasterasked the Minister of Aviatior whether the control systems developed by Short Bros. and Harland are to be used in the new vertical takeoff and landing transport aircraft to be built by Dornier of Germany, in collaboration with Rolls-Royce; and what part Short Bros. will play in this development work.
§ Mr. AmeryThe present proposal is for a feasibility study of the technical and financial implications of this project. I cannot yet say what detailed proposals will emerge from the study but the nature of the control systems will be one of the aspects considered.
