asked the Minister of Health if he will introduce legislation to require local authorities to insure home helps in their employment against accident and to take steps to relieve from liability in this respect those in whose homes they work; and if he will make a statement.

Local authorities are already able to insure their employees against special risks. I do not propose to introduce legislation compelling them to do so.
