§ 98. Mr. Dempseyasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if, in view of the observations made by Lord Cameron on 10th December last in the Court of Session relating to the operation of the law regarding the not proven verdict in Scottish courts and the growing volume of opposition to this verdict, legally and otherwise, he will take steps to dispense with this verdict.
