§ 18. Mr. Dempseyasked the Secretary of State for Industry, Trade and Regional Development, in view of the repeated failure to find an occupant for the vacant Salt Saltaire factory at Carlisle Road, Airdrie, if he will acquire this factory with a view to letting to a suitable occupant.
§ Mr. HeathI would consider trying to acquire this factory if a specific proposal to lease it were put to the Board of Trade: but it is not suitable for purchase as an advance factory.
