66. Mrs. Butlerasked the Minister of Transport to what extent the study group on traffic problems in London may affect the plans for the construction of the Victoria Line extension and the programming of the Manor House-Walthamstow section.
§ Mr. MarplesPlans for new extensions of the London Underground railway system will be drawn up in the light of the results of the London Traffic Survey, with which the London Transport Board are closely associated, and of other current studies of traffic demands. The survey will not affect the programming of work on any section of the line from Victoria to Walthamstow for which the Government's approval was announced on 20th August, 1962.
