§ LORD CHESHAM asked Her Majesty's Government:

§ Whether they are yet aware of the date when the Committee on Rural Transport under the Chairmanship of Professor D. T. Jack was appointed, and the date when it reported; and, if so, whether they will state the two dates concerned.

§ LORD LINDGREN
The Committee was appointed on 3rd September, 1959, and reported on 6th January, 1961. The Report was published on 15th March, 1961.
