§ Mr. James GriffithsNo. I shall not be satisfied until all the unfit houses have been cleared. The real answer to the problem is to build more houses. Our aim is to reach the target of 19,000 new 117W dwellings a year and to maintain this each year until 1971. This would go a long way towards attaining our objective of clearing all the unfit dwellings as well as overcoming the present shortage of dwellings and meeting the needs of the growing number of families in Wales.
