Mr. Bishop

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what are the numbers of dwellings in the Newark constituency without piped water, flush sanitation, and electricity, respectively.

According to the Nottinghamshire section of the report of the 1961 Census, there were, at the time of the census, 1,001 dwellings in the Newark constituency without piped water and 3,807 without flush sanitation.

I have no information about the number of dwellings without electricity.
