asked the Minister of Aviation what was the revenue in landing fees and other amounts received during 1963 and 1964; and which airlines operate from Gatwick.

Mr. Stonehouse

For the financial year 1962–63, the revenue from landing fees at Gatwick was £402,445; and from other activities and services £464,740. For the year 1963–64, the amounts were £404.075 and £507,823 respectively.

Five airlines, namely, British European Airways, British United Airways, Dan Air Services, Morton Air Services and Scillonian Air Services, operate regular passenger services from the airport.

About 50 other airlines use Gatwick for charter services.
