§ 81. Sir J. Maitlandasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he is aware that no relief can be obtained under the Rating Relief Act for heavy additional water rates, and that this is a cause of hardship; and if he will seek to amend the Rating Relief Acts so that the burden of additional water rates may be taken into account.
§ Mr. CrossmanI am aware that water rates are excluded from this Act, but I do not believe there is any case for amending legislation.
