Beamishasked the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will make representations to the German Federal Government in order to ensure that compensation payments to refugees who are now British subjects and who were persecuted on grounds of nationality are adequate to meet their needs, in view of the discrimination exercised in making these payments.
§ Mr. PadleyHer Majesty's Government have made known to the German authorities their concern that refugees persecuted on the grounds of nationality should receive equitable compensation.
