Mr. Mahonasked the Minister of Transport if he is aware of the need to improve the dock access roads outside the Gladstone Dock entrance, Bootle, and at the main junction of Seaforth Sands and Rimrose Road adjacent to the Gladstone Dock; what representations he has received on this matter from Bootle and Crosby corporations in connection with this; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Tom FraserI received from my hon. Friend last week letters which he had had about this from the Bootle and Crosby Corporation. I realise the urgency of this matter and I have asked my divisional road engineer for a report. I will write to my hon. Friend as soon as I can.
