§ 71. Mr. Pavittasked the Minister of Health how many time-expired senior registrars are now employed in the National Health Service; and if the fact that they may now be appointed to the new grade of medical assistant without competition will mean that this will now take place automatically.
§ Mr. RobinsonThe latest available figures are for 30th September, 1963, when there were 116 senior registrars with five years or more service in the grade. For some automatic regrading as medical assistant would not be the appropriate course.
