1956 1964 Lichfield … 29 31 Tamworth … 39 (including 4 part-time) 48 (including 6 part-time) We do not use the number of houses and business addresses in an area as a basis for fixing postal establishments: these are determined after careful measurement of the time required for the actual job. The present establishments are under review.
