§ Mr. Joseph SlaterThis telephone, which was in the railway station, was removed when the station was closed on 3rd October, 1964, as it was very little used. The parish council have proposed that a new kiosk should be provided to serve this area and the nearby hamlet of Broom Green, and have been advised to consult the Rural District Councils' Association to see if it can be provided out of the local allocation for unremunerative kiosks.
