§ Mr. PeartThe Cook Committee in their Review of the Persistent Organochlorine Pesticides, published last March, stated that the restrictions placed on the use of aldrin and dieldrin in cereal seed dressings are serving their purpose and have very greatly reduced the number of deaths of seed-eating birds through these chemicals. Investigations by my Department support this view.
