Mr. George Jegerasked the Minister of Power whether he is aware of the continual concern at the quality of coal reaching the domestic consumer; and whether he will give a general direction to the National Coal Board to devise a stricter method of preventing the sale of low or mixed quality coal at high-grade prices.
§ Mr. John MorrisThe National Coal Board has already taken action in collaboration with the distributive trade and, as 39W from today, coal merchants must use the N.C.B. group numbers to describe the quality of the coal they sell.
