§ Mr. Englishasked the Minister of Overseas Development if she will give details of the assistance being given by Her Majesty's Government to the Government of Dahomey for the improvement of agricultural training.
§ Mrs. CastleHer Majesty's Government have agreed to make a gift to the Government of Dahomey of equipment up to the value of £50,000 for agricultural training centres and are also providing under technical assistance arrangements the services of an expert to advise on the type of equipment to be supplied. Parliament will be asked to vote the necessary sum in due course. Meanwhile, if earlier payment should be necessary, an advance will be obtained from the Civil Contingencies Fund.
