§ Mr. Owenasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs how many houses have been improved by the Ashington Urban District Council, Northumberland, and by the National Coal Board on grants from the local authority during the past five years.
§ Mr. CorfieldMy right hon. Friend does not have figures covering precisely the last five years. Between 1st January, 1960, and 31st March, 1964, 110 council houses were improved. In the same period, 892 other houses in the urban district were improved with the aid of grants, but I do not know how many of these were improved by the National Coal Board.
