§ Mr. Merlyn Reesasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will take steps to open a retail branch of Her Majesty's Stationery Office in Leeds to meet the needs of the many regional headquarters of commercial organisations and of higher educational institutions which at present experience delay in obtaining Government Reports and White Papers.
§ Mr. GreenThe demand for Government publications in Leeds is not sufficient to warrant the opening of a retail branch of the Stationery Office. However, two of the principal booksellers in 27W Leeds are official agents of the Stationery Office, with whom no less than 17 other retailers in Leeds also maintain accounts for Government publications.
