HC Deb 27 April 1964 vol 694 c22W
Mr. Owen

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs how many houses have been built by Morpeth Borough Council during the last 12 years; how many have been improved during this period; and what plans they have for future developments.

Mr. Corfield

The council has completed 438 dwellings in the 12 years endinig 31st March, 1964. Separate figures for improvements in the same period are not available, but since 1949 grants have been approved for 110 dwellings, including six council houses.

The council proposes to build 16 dwellings in 1964 and a tender for these has been accepted.
