§ Mr. Owenasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he has received the report of the Committee of Investigation on Differential Milk Price Zones, arising from representations made to him by the producers in the Eastern and South-Eastern Regions; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. SoamesI assume the hon. Member is referring to the Report of the Committee which was set up by the Milk Marketing Board and which reported to that body, not to me. This Report proposed higher prices in the Regions to which the hon. Member refers, and the Board have decided not to implement it.
