§ Mr. StodartNo precise estimate has been or can be made of the damage avoided by the continued use of the gin trap against foxes and otters in Scotland, but my right hon. Friend is satisfied that it is substantial. He will withdraw his authority for these remaining uses as soon as he is satisfied that there is an effective and humane alternative.
