§ 44. Mr. W. Hamiltonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT a summary of the technical inquiries which he made in 1963 into the problems arising from the continued existence of privately-owned toll bridges, the proceeds of which have been exempted from taxation since the 18th century.
