§ Mr. du CannNo advance factories in the North-East are at present in the process of building, though two are being extended to meet the needs of tenants. Five factories are at present without tenants but discussions are taking place with interested firms. Two more at Blaydon and Chesterle-Street are to be built but construction has not yet started. The seven factories together should provide about 600 jobs.
