§ 42. Mr. Milneasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will appoint an inquiry into the law relating to betting on sporting events, with particular reference to the dangers of pressures or influences being brought to bear on those participating or otherwise concerned, with a view to introducing legislation to strengthen the law on this matter.
