§ Mr. Lubbockasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what interested bodies he is consulting about the amendment of the law relating to burial and cremation; and when he now expects the consultations to be completed.
§ Mr. CorfieldConsultations so far have been principally with Government Departments. My right hon. Friend will also be seeking the views of local authority associations, religious authorities, and organisations concerned with aspects of burial or cremation. Since the problems involved are complex these consultations may take several months.
