Arrangements are already in hand to accelerate the mechanical baggage conveyor from 60 feet a minute to 100, and to provide an additional baggage collection area in the terminal building. The new baggage collection area will be separately fed by a roller conveyor and should greatly increase the baggage handling capacity of the airport.
