§ Mr. Owenasked the Minister of Power what steps are being taken to ensure an adequate supply of coke as a smokeless fuel, in view of the policy of the Gas Board to use increasing quantities of methane gas, and in view of the anxiety of those consumers who have installed coke burning boilers; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. PeytonGas coke for domestic boilers is at present in good supply. As regards the longer term, steps are being taken as set out in Cmnd. 2231 of December 1963.
