§ Mr. Farrasked the Secretary of State for Industry, Trade and Regional Development what representations he has made to the Australian Government as a result of the recent doubling of import duty on British drums, coupled with a reduction in the British preferential margin.
§ Mr. HeathI have asked the British industry whether it can furnish me with evidence showing that the new duties are inconsistent with our rights under the United Kingdom-Australia Trade Agreement. In the light of this I will consider making representations.
