§ Mr. Lubbockasked the Minister of Health how many man-hours are lost to industry through dental illness.
§ Mr. WoodI have been asked to reply.
I regret that comprehensive information is not available. The number of days of incapacity for work attributed 142W to "diseases of the teeth and supporting structures" among persons insured for sickness benefit in the year which ended on 3rd June, 1961 (the latest for which figures are available) is estimated at some 650,000.
