§ Mr. BrookeThe Government thoroughly agree with the Council on the importance of informing the public as fully as possible about civil defence preparations. I arranged that the Press advertising during the publicity and recruiting campaign this autumn should be as explicit as possible, setting out more specifically than ever before the purpose as well as the breadth and the progress of these preparations.
