§ Captain Kerbyasked the Minister of Transport if, in view of the intention to close the Brighton-Horsham railway line, he will inquire of the Railways Board what their plans are with regard to the future of their toll bridge over the River Adur at Shoreham-by-Sea, and. in particular, whether the toll imposition is to be discontinued after the line is closed.
§ Mr. MarplesNo decision has yet been made to close the line to passengers. In any case the future of the toll bridge is much more dependent on my proposal to build a new bridge to carry the trunk road over the river.
