HC Deb 20 November 1963 vol 684 c101W
Mr. C. Hughes

asked the Postmaster. General what progress is being made with the extensions to four telephone exchanges in Anglesey where work was held up owing to shortage of equipment.

Mr. Bevins

The equipment extensions at the Valley and Pentraeth exchanges have hen completed, and that at Tynygongl will be completed next February as expected. I am sorry that the new building at Glyngarth will not now be ready until next month, after which it will take about three months to install equipment. I have, however, made exceptional arrangements to give service within the next two weeks to the four applicants who are waiting for telephones on this exchange.
