§ Mr. Boydenasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what additional funds he is making available to universities in view of the need, as recommended by the Robbins Committee, for improvements in clericaland laboratory assistance to university staffs during the current academic year.
§ Mr. GreenThe Government expect, in a short time, and after receiving the advice of the U.G.C., to make a statement on the additional grants for recurrent expenditure in universities arising from those recommendations of the Robbins Report which have been accepted in the White Paper.
