Mr. A. Lewis

asked the Prime Minister, whether he will arrange for all Ministerial statements of Government policy to be first made in the House of Commons and not at public luncheons, private meetings, party political meetings and by-elections as has been the case during the past year or so.

Whenever practicable the Government have made and will continue to make important announcements of public policy to Parliament in the first instance.
