asked the Minister of Labour how many summer school leavers in the Gateshead district have taken up full-time further educational courses; and whether this figure is included in the total number of unemployed.

It is estimated by the Youth Employment Service that about 150 summer school leavers in the County Borough of Gateshead have taken up full-time further educational courses; they are not included in the total number of unemployed.
