§ Mr. D. Price156 applications for building grants have been received from the North-East since 1st April, 196344W and 111 of these have been approved in principle. No grants have yet been made as the amount depends in each case on the actual cost incurred: the applications so approved are for grants estimated to amount to about £2½ million.
