§ 71. Mr. Healeyasked the Minister of Defence what change in the command of the British V-bomber force was agreed by Her Majesty's Government at the Ottawa meeting of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Ministerial Council.
§ Mr. ThorneycroftThe V-bomber force has been assigned to SACEUR and would come under his command for operations in support of N.A.T.O. For national purposes the V-bombers remain under British national command either at home or in any theatre to which they are allotted.
