§ VISCOUNT HAILSHAMHer Majesty's Government have decided to set up an independent Committee of Inquiry to look into the whole question of research in the social sciences. Lord Heyworth has agreed to become Chairman of this Committee and Her Majesty's Government expect to be able to announce its membership and terms of reference very soon.
