§ Mr. WhitelawMy right hon. Friend has noted the observations of the coroner and has examined a detailed report of the accident to which the hon. Lady refers. He is advised that there was no breach of the Shipbuilding and Ship-repairing Regulations in this case. He is always ready to consider representations for amendment of Factory Law. The Code of Regulations in question was recently extensively revised in consultation with both sides of industry and came into force in its present form in 1961.
