§ Mr. MarplesMy divisional road engineers have made a first general assessment of the effect that the implementation of the proposals in the Beeching Plan would have on roads in their divisions. In addition, each proposal will be examined individually and this will include consideration of the possibility of converting lines into roads. The scope, however, for such action is limited.
