HC Deb 29 May 1963 vol 678 c128W
51 and 52. Mr. Hilton

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) what his proposals are for the disposal of the former Forestry Training School, Lynford Hall, Norfolk; and if he will make a statement;

(2) if, in order to ensure that all those who are interested in acquiring Lynford Hall, Norfolk, are given an equal opportunity of doing so, he will arrange for this property to be advertised for sale, either by tender or by public auction.

Mr. Scott-Hopkins

A satisfactory offer has been received for this property. In these circumstances, I cannot see that any useful purpose would be served by arranging for the property to be advertised for sale.
