Mr. N. Pannell

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) what is the breakdown by countries of origin of the 262,000 Commonwealth citizens admitted into the United Kingdom in accordance with the provision; of Part I of the Commonwealth Immigrants Act, 1962, in the period 1st July, 1962, to 30th April. 1963;

(2) what is the breakdown by countries of origin of the 242,000 Common-
