70. Mr. Slaterasked the President of the Board of Trade how many new jobs have been provided in the Tees-side area since it was scheduled as a development area.
§ Mr. D. PriceNo project has been confirmed since the Tees-side Group was listed as a development district on the 26th February last; but fourteen applications for assistance under the Local Employment Act, 1960 are under consideration. The Board of Trade are also building an advance factory at Stockton-on-Tees.
