§ Mr. CorfieldInformation is not available about the acreage of spoil heaps reclaimed each year by local authorities. Since July, 1962, one application for loan sanction and five applications for grant under Section 5 of the Local Employment Act have been received. These covered the reclamation of 142 acres of land containing spoil heaps for public open space.
