§ 38. Dr. Brayasked the Parliamentary Secretary for Science what further consideration has been given to the setting up of national research institutes since the Advisory Council on Scientific Policy Report for 1960–61.
§ Mr. Denzil FreethIt was as a result of the consideration given to this subject by the Advisory Council on Scientific Policy, the results of which were published in their report of 1961–62, that the Government decided to set up the Trend Committee on the organisation of Civil Science. Further action must await their report.
